Participation budgets changed on 1 October 2026

NDIS participation and capacity-building budgets began reducing on 1 October 2026. Providers weighted to those supports need the effect on utilisation quickly, and spreadsheets do not move at that speed.

Support at Home reporting is still manual

Support at Home replaced Home Care Packages in November 2025, and personal care contributions changed again on 1 October 2026. Many Sydney teams still assemble that reporting by hand each month.

Shared logins and unclear offboarding

Small Sydney teams share logins for rostering or claiming, and access is not always removed when someone leaves. That makes any audit trail unreliable.

What we do. Single sign-on where the application supports it, MFA, access by role, and a documented joiner and leaver process. Essential Eight assessment if that fits.

Sydney is the exception: the head office is in Liverpool, so on-site attendance can be arranged. Day-to-day support is still remote, Mon-Fri 9am-6pm AEST.

Does Sharktech visit Sydney sites in person?

Yes. Sydney and Melbourne are the two cities where on-site attendance is offered, and the head office is at Level 1, 244 Macquarie St, Liverpool NSW 2170. Most work is still done remotely because it is faster. There is no 24/7 helpdesk.

Will this replace our rostering or claiming system?

No. The LYD AssistOS platform covers enquiries, website, CRM, follow-up and booking. It is not a clinical record, rostering or claiming system. Reporting work reads from the systems you already run, where they allow export or integration.

What does a first engagement cost in Sydney?

A managed IT pilot month starts from A$2,500 + GST and a workflow automation project from A$3,000 + GST. Prices exclude GST and are confirmed in writing after a short assessment. The LYD AssistOS platform is separate, from $220 per month + GST.
