9Defined cybersecurity services
3-5Days for a typical Security Health Check
0Need to replace your existing IT provider

Strengthen what you already use.

Your team already runs Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, care software, accounting, websites and staff devices. We secure that stack first. New tools only when they are needed.

Care and practice systems

Secure the care and practice systems your team already uses, including Visualcare, AlayaCare, ShiftCare, Lumary and Brevity where access allows.

Microsoft 365 and Google

MFA. Admin access. Guest sharing. Sign-in controls. Logging. Backups.

Web, email and AI

Protect websites, bookings, domains, email and AI workflows that handle participant or client data.

Nine services

Start with the risk. Add only what you need.

Written scope. Clear deliverable. Agreed access. No surprise invoices.

Most providers start with the Security Health Check. It tells you where you stand before you spend on anything else.

01

Security Health Check

Best first engagement , typically 3 to 5 days

Know exactly where you stand.

Review systems, accounts, devices and backups against the Essential Eight. Find the gaps that matter first.

  • Assessment against the eight Essential Eight strategies, with maturity observations
  • User, administrator and multi-factor authentication review
  • Patching, backup and recovery checks, including restore evidence where in scope
  • Walkthrough of findings with your team

You receive: a written assessment report and prioritised remediation roadmap.

02

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing

Typically 3 to 8 days depending on scope

Find it before somebody else does.

Authorised testing. Verified findings. Evidence your team can act on.

  • External or internal network vulnerability assessment as scoped
  • Web application testing against the OWASP Top Ten where applicable
  • Manual verification of findings
  • Severity, evidence and reproducible remediation guidance
  • One retest after agreed fixes

Make it harder to impersonate your organisation.

Reduce spoofing and payment redirection risk. Give finance a simple verification process.

  • SPF, DKIM and DMARC review and configuration
  • Audit of approved services sending email from your domain

  • Payment verification process for finance teams

You receive: configured email authentication, an audit summary and a one page finance process.

06

Security Awareness and Phishing Simulation

One day per training cycle, recurring if required

Train the people attackers target.

Short training. Realistic phishing simulations. Clear trend reporting.

  • Training on phishing, invoice fraud and password practice
  • Simulated phishing campaigns on an agreed schedule
  • Team level trend reporting
  • Simple internal reporting and escalation process

You receive: training, campaign results and a trend report suitable for management or insurer evidence.

Connect the right systems. Tune the alerts. Agree who acts when something matters.

  • Monitoring deployment for agreed systems
  • Alert tuning to reduce noise
  • Monthly activity and findings report

  • Incident response plan with roles and contact paths
  • Gap analysis against SMB1001 or ISO 27001 as scoped
  • Support with insurer and customer security questionnaires

You receive: a policy pack, incident response plan and gap analysis.

09

Secure AI deployment

Scoped with each AI engagement

Put security and human control into the AI design.

AI can move sensitive data fast. Set approved data, access, logging and human approval before launch.

  • Data minimisation and approved data sources
  • Identity, access and permission controls
  • Logging and audit trail requirements
  • Human approval and escalation points
  • Privacy policy and automated decision transparency considerations where relevant

You receive: documented security controls aligned to the AI workflow and implementation scope.

Protect more than the website.

Sensitive data sits across care delivery, workforce, finance and admin. Security has to cover all four.

Participant and client records

Health, identity, funding, contact and support information.

Worker identities and access

Staff accounts, shared access, administrator rights, devices and credential records.

Finance and payments

Invoices, payroll, supplier changes and payment redirection risk.

Email and collaboration

Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Teams, shared drives and guest access.

Websites and portals

Public websites, booking forms, participant portals and third party integrations.

AI and automation

New workflows that process, summarise or route sensitive information.

Find the risk. Fix the priority.

Written scope first. Testing only with authorisation.

01

Discovery call

Thirty minutes on what you run, what changed and what you are being asked to prove.

02

Scope and permission

We agree systems, access, timing, contacts and testing boundaries in writing.

03

Assessment or hardening

The work runs to the agreed scope. Anything potentially disruptive is discussed first.

04

Findings and priorities

Management level findings plus enough technical detail for remediation.

05

Fix and retest

We help close agreed findings and verify the fixes. Ongoing support is optional and separately scoped.

One project. Ongoing support. Your choice.

Start with one defined service. Add ongoing support only if it earns its place.

Fixed scope project

One service, scoped and priced up front, delivered and documented. Clear start, clear finish.

Ongoing retainer

Monitoring, patching, phishing campaigns, reporting and periodic re-checks under an agreed monthly scope.

Security support on call

Agreed days each month for security questionnaires, tenders, reviews and improvement work.

Clear boundaries from day one.

Your IT provider can stay. We work alongside them and stay inside the agreed scope.

We are not your helpdesk by default

Your existing IT provider can stay in place. We can send the remediation plan directly to them and work alongside them.

We do not promise 24 hour monitoring

Our standard monitoring service is reviewed during Australian business hours with agreed escalation contacts.

We do not issue certifications

We can perform preparation and gap analysis for frameworks such as SMB1001 or ISO 27001. Certification is issued by the relevant certifying body.

We are not a digital forensics firm

For a live major incident we can help with initial containment and coordination, then bring in an appropriate incident response or forensics specialist.

Questions care providers ask.

What cybersecurity service should an NDIS, aged care or allied health provider start with?

For most providers, the Security Health Check is the best first step. It reviews systems, accounts, devices and backups against the Essential Eight and gives you a prioritised remediation roadmap.

Do you replace our existing IT provider?

No. LYD AssistOS can work alongside your current managed service provider, internal IT team or software vendors. The goal is to close defined security gaps, not force a rip and replace.

Can you review Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace security?

Yes. We can review administrator accounts, dormant users, guest access, multi-factor authentication, sign-in methods, access rules, logging and backups within the agreed scope.

What is the Essential Eight?

The Essential Eight is a set of eight mitigation strategies developed by the Australian Signals Directorate to help organisations protect internet-connected IT environments. We use the current ASD guidance when an Essential Eight assessment is in scope.

What is SMB1001 and can LYD AssistOS certify us?

LYD AssistOS can perform readiness and gap analysis against SMB1001. We do not issue the certificate. Certification is completed by the relevant certifying body.

Does LYD AssistOS provide 24 hour security monitoring?

No. Our standard monitoring service is reviewed during Australian business hours with agreed escalation contacts. If you need 24 hour coverage, we will identify that requirement during scoping.

How do you secure AI used with participant or client data?

We define approved data sources, permissions, logging, data minimisation, human approval and escalation before the AI workflow goes live. Where automated decision transparency obligations are relevant, they are flagged for appropriate privacy and legal review.

How much does a cybersecurity engagement cost?

Work is scoped and quoted per job. Most clients start with one fixed scope engagement so the deliverable and cost are clear before work begins.

How long does a Security Health Check take?

A typical Security Health Check runs for about three to five days, depending on environment size, access and scope.

Find the gaps before they become the problem.

Thirty minutes. Clear scope. A straight answer on what you actually need next.

Secure the data. Then automate and report.

AI deployment, analytics and reporting

Custom AI, workflow automation and Power BI reporting around the care systems you already use.
